Spanish Wine Certified Educator

The Wines from Spanish Wine Certified Educator course is designed as a classroom-based programme to be taught in Spain during a week of masterclasses and field visits. The application process will evaluate both a student’s previous experience with Spanish wines as well as their future potential as Wines from Spain Educators.

Applicants for the Spanish Wine Certified Educator must complete the Spanish Wine Specialist online course before their week in Spain.

Spanish wines have never been as diverse and exciting as they are today. Traditional varieties are being recovered on a daily basis and old vines planted in ancient territories are being brought back into production again. Classic wines styles are being consolidated and their connection with the Spanish gastronomic scene is stronger than ever. Once the basic level of knowledge has been established through the Spanish Wine Specialist, this course will show participants what Spanish wines look like today and in the years to come: the new canon of Wines from Spain.

This second course will give participants the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge of wines from Spain by becoming a Spanish Wine Certified Educator, allowing them to transmit their expertise to wine lovers and professionals alike.
