As to the overall results, especially outstanding was the recognition given to two of the seven wines entered by DO Campo de Borja, the only appellation to win in more than one category, while QDO Rioja was the region which entered the most wines in the competition (170) followed by Ribera del Duero, Penedés, Rueda, and DO Navarra.
