The Finca Antigua Tempranillo 2003 from La Mancha, signed by Martínez Bujanda (a famous winery with a solid tradition) is for the Food & Wine magazine the best option to make a toast at Christmas.
The prestigious North American monthly magazine selects in one of its articles of January only 10 wines of the whole world, ideal for their excellent quality/price ratio, their market availability and their versatility to accompany Christmas meals.
The magazine has chosen the Spanish brand for the “superb quality of the grapes in the estate of Martínez Bujanada, bought in 1999”. The wine has an intense aroma, with notes of red fruit jam, touches of underwood and macerate skin, it is tasty, meaty and warm in the mouth, with an excellent acidity.
Marínez Bujanda has created in La Mancha a concept of viticulture in the idea of vineyard, but with a touch of modernity. The 300 hectares of own vineyard produce versatile, attractive wines which can provide great quality for a moderate price, wines that are capable to seduce every consumer. These are qualities that have quickly been captured by foreign markets, where 65% of its production is marketed.
