The Institute of Cava returns to the Brazilian market, this time accompanied by chefs such as Jordi Juncà from restaurant Ca l'Enric; Paco Pérez from restaurant Miramar; Joan Borràs, from Hostel Sant Salvador-la Vall de Bianya; Xavier Franco from restaurant Saüc; Aitor Olebagoya from restaurant Peixample de Barcelona y André de Melo, gastronomic coordinador of “Saber e Sabor, la Experiencia Gastronómica y Cultural” to be held from June 18 to 27 in the city of Belo Horizonte, as reported by Reuters.
During these days, a variety of Cava and food related events such tastings, dinners and lectures will take place to bring together the two cultures, Brazilian and Spanish, through the language of cuisine and wine. All these activities are complemented by other social events like the cooking classes for the poorest social strata of the city. It is envisaged that over a thousand citizens from Belo Horizonte will participate in this event that aims to approach Brazilians to Cava and Spanish gastronomy.
