Far from making the mistakes of a beginner, Sara’s debut as a wine-producer could not be more successful. Since its recent creation, Dido has astonished because of its strong aroma, its great varietal and fruity expression, its nuance richness and full and elegant mouth feel. Venus is not left behind, her first launching, half syrah, half cariñena, with mineral nuances of ripe fruit and rounded mouth feel. “Through these wines”, says Sara, “I have tried to transmit the climate and the soil of the Montsant, as well as my philosophy and my view of the world. Always respecting the environment, with an balanced viticulture, without synthesis waste, nor pesticides nor herbicides. A commitment to the recovery of the soils and a respectful treatment to the grape and the wine: that is the authentic and final expression of my project”.
Montsant has been in her career the most radical work, “developing in a pure state an ideal of beauty that I have built up over the years”, she declares.
