All of these wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in their own vineyards. These cover an extension of 160 hectares in the Cuenca districts of Las Mesas and Carrascosa de Haro, at around 900 metres above sea level and subject to drastic temperature changes between day and night, benefiting the grape’s ripening process.
The following varieties are grown in this terroir, in reds: Tempranillo, Syrah, Graciano, Garnacha, Merlot, Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and in whites: Sauvignon Blanc, Moscatel, Verdejo, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Airén. The choice of wines is equally extensive, ranging from young wines to Gran Reserva, including young varietals, Crianzas and Reservas.
All of this together makes Bodegas Parra Jiménez a leading company in the European organic sector, selling mainly to German and British organic supermarkets and with importers in Benelux, Canada, Switzerland and the US.
